Teresa Collins

Teresa Collins is a veterinary and PhD graduate from Sydney University. After some years in practice, she moved west, where she lectures in Animal Welfare and Ethics at the School of Veterinary Medicine, Murdoch University. Teresa has completed membership and examined for the Animal Welfare Chapter of ANZCVS. Teresa’s research has focused on identifying objective measures of welfare, including during land and sea transport. Teresa has developed national curricula for teaching animal welfare science, published over 40 papers, and serves on several national committees, including AVAWE and the Technical Advisory Committee for the review of Australian Standards for Exported Livestock.
