Dr Patrick Kluver

Patrick has a wealth of experience in endemic and exotic disease control. This includes carrying out research into Johne’s disease for the Victorian Government, and working as a lecturer in sheep medicine and production at the University of Melbourne Veterinary School for five years. Patrick worked with the university’s beef and sheep consultancy group, the Mackinnon Project at the Veterinary School at Werribee, regarded as Australia’s leading teaching, research and advisory service for sheep and beef.In 2007 Patrick accepted a position with the CSIRO’s Australian Animal Health Laboratory, working mostly in Indonesia to strengthen their laboratory networks. For the past 2 years Patrick has worked for the Livestock Biosecurity based in Victoria
