Dr Naomi Boyd

Naomi Boyd graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Sydney in 2004 and as a veterinarian from the same university in 2011. As a human physiotherapist, she has worked in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy with high level sports teams and international athletes. Naomi has further certifications in dry needling, cervical spine and temporomandibular joint pain and pilates. Naomi is currently the vice-chair for the APA Animal Physiotherapy Group and developing the pathway for specialisation in Australia. Naomi is a visiting professor of the Yamazaki Gakuen University, Japan where she teaches Animal Physiotherapy and has previously presented at the International Symposium of Veterinary Rehabilitation.
Naomi enjoys working closely with specialist veterinarians in Sydney and the opportunities to combine her knowledge of physiotherapy and veterinary medicine in novel and interesting cases. Naomi is passionate about educating clinicians and pet owners in rehabilitation and how we can improve day to day function and quality of life for our pets, whether it be after surgery or illness or as part of sporting activities
