Megan Kearney

Dr Megan Kearney is an integrative veterinary surgeon and Medical Herbalist. She runs a veterinary hospital and practice for people in Bangalow, Northern NSW. She sees a wide range of species including companion animals, horses, livestock, exotics and wildlife. Megan was inspired as a young vet to travel the UK to study western herbal medicine in the British Isles where the plants are endemic. She was the first vet to become a Member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists in 1998. She became a Veterinary Member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in 1997 and completed the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society course in 2003. Megan is past-President and past AVA Policy Council representative for Integrative Veterinarians Australia. She has spoken conferences and post-graduate courses in veterinary herbal medicine in Australia, the UK and South Africa. She is currently studying a Masters of Veterinary Studies in Conservation Medicine at Murdoch University
