Veterinarian and Project Coordinator
AMRRIC (Animal Management in Rural and Remote Indigenous Communities) is a national not-for-profit charity that uses a One Health approach to coordinate integrated veterinary and education programs in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Our One Health approach recognises the inextricable links between human, animal and environmental health and wellbeing. By working with remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to improve the health of their pets, we are helping to create healthier, safer and happier communities. Dr Bonny Cumming – the presenter for this session - is a veterinarian and project coordinator for AMRRIC. Bonny was initially employed by AMRRIC as a program coordinator and trainer on the Animal Management Worker program. Her current role is diverse and includes policy and protocol development, collaborating with researchers and volunteer coordination
